In the hustle and bustle of daily life, we often seek moments of inspiration to keep us moving forward. Short motivational poems can have the power to offer that spark, providing a glimpse of hope and a push toward our highest aspirations.
These sentences capture the essence of resilience, hope, and perseverance, encapsulating life lessons in just a few lines.
The Best Work
Hi, I’m Sophie. I am a poet in the sense that I write poetry almost daily.
But the fact that I’m not a famous poet or making a shed-load of money from my poetry often makes me ask, “Am I actually that?” (imposter syndrome alert!)
Unlike the likes of Rudyard Kipling, Emily Dickinson, or William Wordsworth, I don’t have a famous name.
But my poems are starting to gain traction. They are starting to be shared and read aloud by others, filling me with so much joy and hope for the future.
I wonder if the poems in this post will become one of my best works? Several of them sum up the dichotomy of life, I feel.
Short Motivational Poems
One thing humans tend to do is compare themselves—some of us more than others. It’s easy to do, what with having a screen at your fingertips 24/7. But a good step would be to grab a nice book to read instead, taking intentional moments throughout your day to break the cycle of subconscious comparison (and boredom scrolling.)
Love Poems
Short, inspirational poems are essential because they provide quick yet profound moments of clarity. Whether it’s dealing with challenges of daily life, facing tough times, or simply needing a boost, such poems can offer solace and motivation.
At mamasfindyourvoice.com, my focus has always been on creating poems that resonate deeply, offering messages of hope and encouragement that are both timeless and contemporary.
Short Inspiring Poems
A motivational poem should resonate with the reader personally, offering not just words but actionable steps to progress from. It should evoke emotions, provoke thoughts, and inspire movement.
The poetry at mamasfindyourvoice.com strives to do just that by weaving together themes of inner strength, high ideals, and the beauty of life itself.
Enough Happiness
One of the societal concepts I struggle with hugely is this incessant need to ‘have more.’
More money, more kids, more time, more possessions. That is such a negative way to think—believe me, the chase never ends when you view life through this lens.
I wrote this poem to sum up this concept if that’s what I should call it. I’m not sure, but I think you understand what I mean.
The Natural World
One of the things I’ve come to accept about myself is that I’m a deep thinker and feeler, which is really tough to cope with in the superficial parts of life. For example, I’m not good at small talk, opting for a deep and meaningful whenever possible.
My best tune is a conversation over a glass of wine with someone who is as connected to the conversation as me. I can fish out inauthenticity like a pro, haha ~ so if someone is being fake and whatnot, I sense it. To me, life is too short to be someone you’re not, so I greatly advocate integrity and authenticity.
Right now, I’m at a time when I have beautiful young children, but I’ve literally just come out of the busy ‘baby stage.’ And I miss it… Well and truly.
I’m in my element with a baby in my arms, but toddlers? Preschoolers? They’re another level altogether. If you’re in the same boat, this poem might resonate with you:
Summary
I hope my poetry offers you a pause, a moment, to take a breather, sit down, and slow down. Life is busy enough for all of us, so taking little pockets of time to read poetry is one of the best things a woman can do!
