A Peace Of Mind Quote To Tame A Busy Mind?
Yes please. Recent times are challenging, particularly if you’re an avid news reader (like me), which is why reading a peace of mind quote will be a welcome respite.
Quotes have a special place for inspiring and motivating, bringing us out of our heads, into a space of clarity and peace.
So too are quotes, a wonderful form of mindfulness practise when we focus on them – tuning in to the feelings they evoke when we read or say them aloud, not judging how we feel, but simply being present to it.
You’ll find my all time favourite quotes in this list. And others which I’ve recently discovered that keep me positive during these uncertain times.
Peace of Mind Quotes
“It’s not what you look at that matters. It’s what you see.” (Henry Thoreau)
“Everything is possible for him who believes” (Mark 9:23)
“Let us try and recognise the precious nature of every day” (HH Dalai Lama)
“None but ourselves can free our minds” (Bob Marley)
“Gratitude is heaven itself” (William Blake)
“Hope is the dream of a man awake” (French proverb)
The thing I love about quotes is they can be placed around your home, framed or not, in a place where you’ll see it often.
I have quotes stuck to my kitchen wall (my work desk is the kitchen table!) so when I’m writing, I can stay motivated and focused.
I also have quotes stuck to the mirror in my bedroom for when I’m getting ready in the morning.
