Love, with its infinite expressions and timeless essence, has always inspired poets to pour their hearts onto paper (me included)
The beauty of love poems lies in their ability to encapsulate the depth of feelings, often beyond what mere words can convey.
Deep poems for her
In this post, join me as we embark on a journey through some of the most profound, deep poems for her I’ve ever written; mark my words, you won’t find these poems anywhere else.

The Allure of Romantic Poetry
Romantic poetry has long been a vessel for expressing true love.
Whether a short love poem capturing a fleeting moment or a deep love poem exploring the profound connection between two souls, these pieces resonate deeply with readers.
With his famous sonnets, William Shakespeare often delved into the complexities of love, giving us lines like “Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?” which remains, to some, one of the most beautiful poems to date.

Romantic Poems
I’d love to say I’m a romantic, but I’m not. Mind you, I’m one of these women who’d love a romantic man, haha. But in words? I can be romantic. Like, really fuzzy lovey-duvey romantic.
Though this poem here is more of a melancholic, achy poem. Aching for times gone by…

Love Through the Ages
Love poems are not just about grand declarations for your husband or partner; they also capture the simple, everyday moments that make up a loving relationship, with your kids or your friends even.
Robert Burns’s “A Red, Red Rose” and **John Keats**’s “Bright Star” showcase this blend of grand passion and tender moments, making them some of the best love poems written.
I wonder what you think of this poem. Written by yours truly, of course.

Deep love poems
Nature often serves as a powerful metaphor in a good love poem.
The natural world, with its beauty and impermanence, parallels the experience of love itself. One minute it’s full on, another it could be quite subtle.
Being openly existential, I often see things in black and white. A simple poem can be a great way to express the intensity of my thoughts.
A bit like a brain dump, albeit more organized!

Today’s the day
The enduring popularity of poetry lies in its ability to speak to the hearts of millions. Whether it’s the ancient verses of Sappho, the passionate sonnets of Shakespeare, or the contemporary musings of Carol Ann Duffy, love poetry resonates because it taps into the fundamental human experiences of loving another and being loved.
Truly, some of my favorite poems are ones I’ve written to myself. To me, as it were. Because to you, the reader, they speak directly to you, too. Such as this one.

A beautiful thing
You’ll perhaps notice a running theme in the poems I write. Not every single one, of course, but many of them have a whole life, end-of-time, true feelings vibe.
I do this because these are the thoughts my mind has the toughest time processing.

The big questions I often find my mind asks are:
- How can life be so beautiful yet so painful at the same time?
- Why am I here?
- What is my purpose?
- What’s the point!
These poetic devices—my own poetry—help me clarify such thoughts and make meaning of them.
They’re not always romantic love messages. Nor are they always a good thing, per se. But that’s OK. I’ll end with this short poem for you to mull over.
I think it sums up life in four lines, personally.
