Strength

( a poem for when you’re forced to be strong )

You never know how strong you are
Til’ you’re forced to be strong
In the blink of an eye
An entire world comes crashing
And you can’t breathe
You wonder if you can
And you do; you go on
You have to
Must
Go
On
For there’s no choice
But to be strong
And in doing so
In carrying on
You’ll become the strongest
The fiercest & the wisest
This is strength
When you’re forced to be strong
