For parents who despise sugar-laden chocolate bunnies that make kids’ teeth fall out! (Perhaps a touch dramatic?)
Discover this beautiful list of non-edible Easter gifts for kids. These are hands down some of the best Easter gifts around!

Easter gifts for kids
With Spring finally here, let’s crack on and prepare for Easter!
I inherently think of Easter when I spot daffodils, lambs, and of course, Easter eggs on the shelves of supermarkets.
My boys are at that perfect age to make the most of Easter baskets layered with (eco-friendly) shredded paper, ready for the ubiquitous easter egg hunts.
Yet I’m like many mothers – I don’t love the overload of chocolate eggs and sweet treats. A little bit sure, but not the masses that are available.
Easter toys are way more fun and healthy!
If you’re the same, you’ll appreciate today’s post on non-edible Easter gifts for kids.
These are all Easter treats, but not in the edible sense.
I also follow the eco-friendly lifestyle approach so you’ll not find any plastic eggs or disposable bunny ears here.
Think more along the lines of wooden eggs, real eggs, a lovely coloring book, Easter books, and the like.

The Egg Decorating Kit

FYI – this is the only edible Easter morning gift on this list!
Enjoy cracking these eggs open together for Easter breakfast. Plus – protein over sugar. Win-win.
These also make great centrepieces instead of the chocolate variety, adding so much colour and positive vibes to the Easter tradition.
School For Hares Playset

This is so cute! A full classroom of hares aka easter bunnies for your little ones to play with. I love wooden toys for their natural touch and sustainability.
This is my top choice for our two (we often get them one gift to share which goes down a treat – not)
Our little 4-year-old is properly into role play which is so wonderful to watch. He gets really engaged! This will keep him occupied for hours, I’m sure…
Easter basket gifts
Easter Bunny Craft Kit

Here’s a mega set of craft goodies for making all sorts of Easter decorations to fill your home. One of the more creative Easter presents!
There’s nothing more enjoyable than covering your kitchen table with glitter and glue and seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces as they create something unique for themselves!
This would also be a lovely gift for a preschool teacher, I think, to add to their list of craft items for kids’ play.
Easter Activity Pack

Perfect for a quiet Easter Sunday afternoon. I get so peaceful when coloring with my little ones. It’s such a relaxing thing to do, and they love that I’m playing with them too.

Rock Painting Kit

Any form of rock painting is fun. Yes, for us adults too 🙂 From finding the rocks (take a toddler!) to painting them pretty.
This kit includes 12 rocks, but I advocate a walk outdoors and getting the kids to find bigger ones.
Then place the painted stones at the front of your house to get the whole street feeling nice and Easter – vibe – y.
Sidewalk chalk

A great choice for sunny days to decorate your driveway or path outside your house. These certainly brighten faces if you get creative and draw smiley mugs everywhere.
You can also use kitchen cutters as stencils if you want to be a bit neater or draw snakes and ladders. The options are endless!
Fun surprises
Kids Digital Camera

We brought our now 4 year old one of these last year, and boy, was it a good shout.
It broke his obsession with my mobile phone for one thing, which delights me to this day, plus you get some cracking photos taken of yourself in parent mode!
Trust me; your kids will love this camera.
Sensory play
Message In A Bottle

This is perhaps the most thoughtful gift on this list. It can be enjoyed by everyone and treasured for years to come. Includes over 100 capsules with paper strips that you can write messages on, pop them back and re-read them later.
I would say this is more suited to slightly older children, but you could always write one for your little ones if they are talking age.
Something for the whole family
An Easter Tree

Why not go all out and celebrate Easter as much as Christmas? Or any other holiday for that matter.
Regardless of the religious meaning, Easter is a wonderful time of year, full of fun things that wave goodbye to the chilly winter months and welcome in the start of a warmer season.
These Easter trees are gorgeous, and your kids will love it! Little hands can quickly join in on the decorating, and it’s an eco-friendly option as you’ll use it year after year.
Why not decorate it with Easter crafts they bring back from school or playdates? This will become a treasured tradition for sure.
